Suspicious transactions of the Grampet owners

Transparency International Croatia supports the decision of the Ministry of Transport not to sell HŽ Cargo to the Romanian group Grampet.

"Now, when Gruia Stoica, owner of the Grampet group, has been arrested in Romania on suspicion of corruption, the complete cessation of negotiations on the sale of HŽ Cargo to the Grampet group is currently the only possible solution. Since Grampet was the only company interested in buying HŽ Cargo, the whole tender and the process of negotiations should be investigated. Let’s recall, corruption knows no boundaries" said the president of TIC Davorka Budimir.
