The letter to the Ukrainian Commissioner for Human Rights

Transparency International sent a letter to Valeriya Lutkovska, Ukrainian Commissioner for Human Rights, to  express its deep solicitude for what is happening in Ukraine. Besides TI invited the Government to solve the situation by peaceful means, by dialogue with protesters and by respecting the integrity of civil society.

Transparency International also expressed its regrets concerning the  increasing of violence which has led to human victims and expressed its condolences to Transparency International Ukraine and to other organizations of civil society.

Transparency International invited the Ukrainian Commissioner Lutkovska to ensure the respect of the obligations taken under the UN Convention against corruption.

Transparency International stands for significant anticorruption reforms in Ukraine.
