It is very important that a property illegally acquired is returned. Along with the prison sentence, the obligation to return the property gives a particular weight to the verdict of the  Fimi media case. It is not worth being corrupted. 

Trial has shown how much efforts have been put in order to take money from public companies. All that money went straight into the pockets of Sanader, HDZ and other defendants. Public companies should not serve as the ATM machines for private or parties needs. TIC believes it is good that the Court decided that all illegal properties have to go back to the State’s budget.

But this is not the only money that has been taken from Croatian citizens. Tax payers also financed this long and complex trial.
