Invitation to sign declaration has been sent to 48 addresses in Croatia and 13 parties and 1 independent list has signed it by now.<\/p>\n
Those are Akcija mladih, Akcija za bolju Hrvatsku, Hrvatska selja\u010dka stranka, Hrvatska socijalno-liberalna stranka, Hrvatska stranka prava, Hrvatska stranka prava dr. Ante Star\u010devi\u0107, Hrvatska stranka umirovljenika, Hrvatski laburisti – stranka rada, Nacionalni forum, Istarski demokratski sabor, Nezavisna lista Ante \u0110api\u0107a, Pokret za modernu Hrvatsku, Stranka hrvatskog zajedništva i Zeleni Hrvatske.<\/p>\n
Politicians could sign Declaration as well. Only four candidates did it in Croatia. Marijana Petir (Hrvatska selja\u010dka stranka), Nensi Tireli and Davorka Pšenica (Hrvatski laburisti – stranka rada) and Ivan Jakov\u010di\u0107 (Istarski demokratski sabor).<\/p>\n
Across the Europe Declaration has gathered about 500 signatures.<\/p>\n
Signatories of Declarations against corruption confirm their commitment in fight against corruption and promotion of transparency, accountability and integrity of institutions of European Union, its politics and legislation.<\/p>\n
By signing Declaration they commit, in case they are elected in Parliament, they will do everything in order to make legal process and management of European institutions as global model of transparency, accountability and integrity.<\/p>\n
Newly elected members of European Parliament will have a chance to sign Declaration after elections as well.<\/p>\n
In pursuing candidates for election in European Parliament to sign Declarations against corruption 14 national chapters of Transparency International has join in. Transparency International Croatia was among these chapters.<\/p>\n
To recall, Anti-corruption report from European Union, which was published in March, showed that corruption is big problem in all member countries.<\/p>\n
